New puppy training classes in Tooting, South London – starting 23rd May

Bringing a new puppy home is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming, especially when behaviour starts to become unpredictable. Biting, pulling on the lead, barking at everything, struggling to settle…

These are all to be expected, but they’re not something your puppy will simply “grow out of”. In fact, without the right guidance early on, these behaviours can develop into bigger challenges later, including over-excitement, anxiety, and even reactivity. That’s why I’ve opened 6 spaces on my 6-week puppy training course in Tooting, South London, starting 23rd May.

Puppy training that focuses on the bigger picture

This isn’t just about teaching your puppy to sit. My approach focuses on raising calm, confident dogs who can cope with the world around them, helping to prevent common issues like reactivity before they begin. In these puppy classes, we work on:

  • Calm behaviour and settling

  • Confidence in new environments

  • How to read dog body language

  • How to properly socialise puppies

  • Handling to future proof vet and groomer visits

  • Focus around distractions

  • Loose lead walking

  • Recall foundations

The goal isn’t just obedience - it’s raising a puppy to be calm and confident with the world around them.

Why start training early?

Puppies are constantly learning from their environment. Without structure, they can quickly become overwhelmed or over-excited around people or dogs, frustrated on the lead, iunsure how to cope with new situations. With the right support, you can guide them towards being calm, confident and reliable.
