Studio dog photography day in south London – 1st March!
I’m pleased to be able to share the date for my next studio dog photography day in south London on 1st March!
I’ve release a limited number of 5 time slots throughout the day. No distractions and a calm environment allowing your dog (and you!) to relax and enjoy the moment.
A calm, training-informed approach to dog photography
Studio environments can feel overwhelming for some dogs, especially if they’re sensitive, excitable, or unsure in new spaces. That’s why I’ve structured my photography days with your dog’s emotional wellbeing in mind.
As both a dog trainer and photographer, I focus on setting up each session to allow dogs to settle at their own pace, avoiding forced poses or pressure to ‘perform’, reading body language and their energy to ensure they’re relaxed and can show their full character. The result is honest, expressive images, not stiff or overly posed photographs.
What is a studio dog photography day?
Firstly, you can read about my photography sessions here. It includes details of how everything works, pricing and info regarding the process from start to finish.
My studio photography days offer pre-booked studio sessions where each dog is allocated a specific time slot, ensuring:
A calm studio environment
No rushing or overlapping dogs
Time for your dog to acclimatise
Focused attention during your session
When & where
1st March - Woodfield Pavillion, Woodfield Recreation Ground, Tooting Bec Common, 16a Abbotswood Road, Streatham, SW16 1AP
Full studio details will be shared once your session is booked. Spaces are limited to keep the day relaxed and dog-friendly.
Why training-informed photography matters
Understanding dog behaviour allows me to adapt the session to your dog, not the other way around. Knowing when to pause, change approach, or simplify the environment helps your dog feel safe, and that comfort shows in the final images.
